Leander's Barber Shop
Leander's Barber Shop is located in downtown Kent, OH. For its rebranding I developed an identity system, ad campaign, website, app and collateral pieces.
Short term identity created for a hypothetical Diwali - the Hindu Festival of Lights - in Des Moines, Iowa. The project includes a brochure, a promotional poster and an app.
In order to appeal to a young demographic of students and professionals, I decided to treat the Hindu Holiday in a fresh and modern way, without leaving out historical and cultural aspects of the tradition.
The whole design is meant to offer a simplified experience of what Diwali is and what to expect at the event. When receiving the invitation in the mail, the dark envelope opens up to a gradually brighter poster and brochure that emphasize the idea of light overcoming darkness.
The printed pieces are created to inform and remind the audience of the event ahead of time, the app instead is created for the day of the event.
